Why Wood?
Glass is cold. Plastic is permanent. Wood is alive. Our hand-carved bottles are made from sustainably sourced hardwood — each one unique in grain, weight, and texture. Wood is the only material that enhances the oil inside, absorbing just enough to mellow the fragrance over time, making it richer as the days pass.
Every bottle takes 3–4 hours to carve and finish by hand. No two are identical. The one you hold is the only one like it in the world.

Oil vs Alcohol
The west popularized alcohol-based spray perfumes. But India’s 3,000-year attar tradition tells a different story. Oil-based perfumes last longer on skin, evolve more beautifully over the day, and contain far higher concentrations of actual fragrance.
Alcohol evaporates in minutes, taking your fragrance with it. Oil sinks into your skin and becomes part of you — changing, deepening, lasting all day from a single application.
